An apron and kerchief or head covering are essential parts of many hardworking cook’s wardrobes, for safety and hygiene. Here are simple patterns for those in the Cooks Activity Group who choose to make their own kerchief and apron for their work at Metini / Fort Ross. Hats or hair nets are also acceptable.
